Prestige killed him
German hermit Manfred Gnandigger died from grief at age 66 in his cabin. The oil slick from the “Prestige” had destroyed his garden along with the sculptures he had made from rocks, wood, bones and whatever objects he found from the sea. He moved to Camellet in 1962. He wore a suit and tie and went to church. He developed environmental concerns, and by the end of the decade, he had substituted his suit with a cloth wrapped around his hips ΤΑ ΝΕΑ – Tuesday, December 31st 2002 |
