THE GREATEST DESIRE

In this difficult situation that Greece is in, I wanted to find out what people in this country desire the most. The answers varied and were all interesting.  Out of the 54 interviews I did, I only kept one, where a man with the most dynamic and radical opinion says that “what I desire the most, is to see this civilization razed” and then the film ends with the following phrase “Homeland melancholy after the 8 o’clock news”.  This video is part of my work called Party’s over – Starts over, through which I examine the different aspects of the crisis -economic, social and normative- that has hit Greece and expanded in Europe.
